DONATE TO SUPPORT THE EFFORTS OF KATRINA'S ANGELS

You can visit any Wells Fargo Bank and make a donation to the "Katrina's Angels" national account.
Where Do Donations Go?
Katrina's Angels, Inc. is managed and operated on a 100% volunteer basis. All volunteers, including Directors, are in unpaid positions, and generously give of their time and services. All donations go directly into the disaster relief efforts of the organization, Katrina's Angels, Inc. All expenses and distributions of money are reported to the IRS and will be public record under our EIN No. 13-4364286. All donations are tax-deductible.
Your donation to Katrina's Angels, Inc. provides the resources and tools to allow our volunteers to effectively serve the needs of communities affected by state and federally-declared major natural disasters. These expenses include web site and database hosting, as well as other communications, including press releases, newsletters, recruitment of volunteers, and phone calls. Also included may be expenses for distribution, shipping, and transportation of needed goods to disaster-affected areas.
Depending on the disaster, getting the word out to businesses as well as to individuals will provide the opportunities to direct families to resources for better living and working situations as well as help communities with the resources they need to get their lives back together.
Why Should You Consider A Donation?
There were hundreds of thousands of displaced indivudals and families from the Gulf Coast of the United States following the hurricanes of 2005. There are still thousands of families living in trailers, lacking employment, and many of the basic necessities. It is estimated that it will take ten years to rebuild the devastated areas of the Gulf.Katrina's Angels, Inc. discovered the need for rebuilding the lives of those affected by such disasters, and in doing so, we found many pockets of need, many without insurance coverage, and many who just did not know where to turn for help. As a result, we have built an entire library of resources listed by state and posted it on our public forum for all to use. We consistently strive to gather and update those resources, directing individuals to help available in their local area as well as trying to fulfill community needs we hadn't considered previously.
Rather than disappear as several other grassroots organizations have done over the past couple of years, we decided to spin off from our parent organization, Atayal, and create our own independent non-profit. We incorporated in the State of New York and received our own 501(c)3 non-profit designation.
Katrina's Angels, Inc. is now dedicated to providing good service and fulfilling those "pockets of need" following other state and federally-declared disasters as well. Without you, we would not be able to do that. Your donation truly makes a difference in the lives of others.
